Ski resort Pařez (“Tree Stump”) - Rokytnice nad Jizerou

Pařez ski resort offers cheap and quality skiing for families with children, school training and ski courses but also for experienced skiers who wish to enjoy pleasant recreational skiing.

There are two ski lifts available in the resort, Tatrapoma P and PFP in length 370 and 320 meters with superelevation 60 m (resp. 50 m) and beautiful maintained, almost 80 m wide ski slope.

There is a parking place for approx. 200 personal cars (in 20 m distance), kiosk with wide assortment of fast food, sitting directly on the slope and WC. The resort also includes ski school for both beginners and advanced skiers and school focusing on snowboarding.

Winter in Pařez ski resort

In winter season Pařez ski resort operates grass skiing and mountainboarding.

Grass skiing

Skiing on grass is nothing strange. All you need to have is special ski that are rather short (max. 1 m) and resemble a tank belt, classic bar shoes and ski sticks. Sticks should be longer, because grass ski is twice as high as snow ski.

• We will lend you all needed accessories in our rental service, you only need the attitude and courage to try something new.
• Skiing on grass ski and the art of riding is very similar to riding on short carving ski.
• Older sporting clothes are appropriate for grass skiing.

Mountainboarding

Pařez ski resort does not ignor also lovers of boards. If you prefer snowboarding, come to us and try its summer variant!

• Mountainboard is a board similar to the one for snowboard, but significantly shorter. It is completed with a pair of axles (for trucks) with 8 or 9-inch tyres. Thus it resembles a bigger skateboard with only one difference – there are two springs on each truck enabling easy turning and bigger control.
• We will be happy to lend you this board including all needed protectors and helmet. Mountainboard is equipped with a brake and so even absolute beginners can try riding on it.
